What's Hiding In Your Heart?

Happy Sunday & MLK Weekend!

I hope that you are enjoying your extended weekend. Did you know that Jesus refers to your heart as a treasure house or warehouse? In Matthew 12:35, he said, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.”

Today at Faith Christian Center, we took another opportunity to examine our hearts. Is there something hiding in your heart? Could it be fear? In today’s message, I shared how to examine your heart, how dangerous fear is, and how you can get fear out of your heart. This is a message that you will want to listen to a few times. In addition to tomorrow being MLK Day, it is also Inauguration Day. I want to encourage you to pray for the incoming administration daily. Remember that 1 Timothy 2:4 instructs us to pray for those who are in authority.

I truly believe that God wants you to thrive this year. Thrive means to flourish, blossom, prosper, advance, make steady progress, and to grow and develop vigorously.
