Stay Hydrated

Wow! Summer is almost officially here and it has been a few busy weeks for us over here. As the temperature rises, we are reminded about the importance of staying hydrated. How much water do you drink every day?

Even though we know it’s important to drink water and stay hydrated, sometimes we can get bored with drinking just water to stay hydrated. Here are a few ideas to help you (and your family) stay hydrated this summer:

  • Coconut Water

Coconut Water is a staple in our house that our kids love as well. Similar to sports drinks, coconut water also helps replace electrolytes.

  • Cucumber Water

Years ago, my wife and I were traveling and the hotel where we were staying consistently put out cucumber water for the enjoyment of their guests. My wife suggested we do it at home as well. According to Dr. Axe, Cucumber Water hydrates, supports digestion and detoxification, and provides nutrients and antioxidants.

  • Fruit Infused Water

Our use of Infused water was also inspired by our travels and what was often waiting for guests in the hotel lobby. Infused Water offers a number of health benefits just like Cucumber Water. Below, I’ve added a few sites with even more infused water recipes for you to try. As we talk about making sure our bodies our fully hydrated, how is your spirit and soul? Are they hydrated? How would you even hydrate them? We’ll share how to do that in a few blogs next week.

Have a Wonderful Weekend,

Kerrick
