My Post-Workout/ Pre-Meeting Protein Smoothie
Happy Taco Tuesday everyone!
I hope you all are doing well and are having a great week so far. Since Summer is getting closer, I will be sharing a lot more smoothie recipes. I really like smoothies! Sometimes, I use them as a meal replacement, a treat, or just a quick and tasty way to eat vegetables that I would otherwise not eat. Today’s smoothie is filling, energizing, and helps provide my muscles the needed amino acids after I work out. I choose this smoothie especially on days where I am pressed for time and I have an early meeting that I need to attend.
Life can be busy and we can often be pressed for time. It is important to make sure that we eat and drink what’s best for our bodies, but we also must make sure that we partake of what is great for our spirits. Spiritual growth isn’t linear. In natural things, people progressively grow older. In spiritual things, that is not the case. To develop, mature, and grow spiritually you have to regularly and purposefully attend to your spiritual growth.
One area that helps you develop and mature spiritually is your faith. In the Gospels, Jesus commented on and quantified faith, which means there are different levels of faith. Romans 10:17 lets us know that faith comes to our hearts when we hear the Word of God. Jesus shared in one of His parables that our faith increases as we use our faith. Here’s a quick tip to grow your faith: daily read the promises of God aloud. What area of your life do you find challenging today? Find the Scripture where God promises help in that area and read that promise aloud. As you continually do this, you will grow stronger in this area and realize that God is helping you every single step of the way. Now, for the smoothie recipe.

Confessions For The Mind
When it comes to the Word of God, many people only focus on the aspects that relate to the spirit or the heart of a person. If attention is only given to the spirit of a person, that individual will miss out on many of the great benefits God has for them in this life. Confessions For The Mind focuses on an aspect of the human soul. It looks at what the Bible has to say concerning the mind, understanding, thought process, imagination, creativity and how to unlock the potential that God has made available to every Believer.
