Don’t Let Frustration Kill Your Productivity

Storytime: This morning I wanted to re-record today’s Faith in the Morning (our daily devotional podcast.) I wasn’t satisfied with the one I had prepared, so I chose to do it again. It should have been easy, however I ran into tech issue after tech issue after tech issue trying to get it done. After working through those issues and creating work arounds, I ran into issues syndicating it to Facebook.

Nothing I tried would fix the issue so I had to use a few different avenues to make sure the devotional streamed at the right time. Normally, all of this would have frustrated me. I would have got the job done but would have been highly annoyed.

Today, I chose to keep an outlook of hope, keep a positive attitude, ignore the hours of frustration, and push through to get the devotional out. Do you know what happened? Through using the different avenues, I ended up reaching more people than I usually do.

Don’t let frustration kill your productivity or your positivity. Unexpected things happen. You can either stew in your frustration or push through. Pushing through produces results, but pushing through in hope creates greater results.

Whether you have been frustrated for hours, days, weeks, months, or years, don’t give up. Don’t let go of hope. Don’t let go of positive expectation. Don’t let go of a positive attitude.

Your future is worth you staying positive. Your future is worth you holding on to hope. Your future is bright; keep pushing through in hope.

Have a great day everyone!
