An Affirmation For Your Children

Happy Monday! I hope you have had a great summer so far! Here in Georgia, our students begin to head back to school this week. In today’s blog, I want to share a positive, faith affirmation and confession for your children. The words of this affirmation come from what I say over my children. This affirmation and confession came over a process of time in the weeks after my firstborn arrived. As I would hold her, take care of her, and spend time with her, these Scriptural phrases came out of my heart. Now, I speak these things over all of my children, they are able to say these same things about themselves, and this confession has become the foundation of the Faith Christian School Scholar’s Daily Confession.

I encourage you to say these things over your children, grandchildren, and the kids in your life. Make it part of your daily routine by saying it at the breakfast table or in the car on the way to school. Daily affirmations do boost the confidence of your children. When your children speak God’s Word over themselves, in addition to building confidence, it reminds them of their true identity and releases the supernatural power of faith in their lives.

The Confession For Parents/Grandparents to say to their children:

Today, you are growing in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man. Great is your peace. You are taught of the Lord. You are an arrow of light that destroys darkness. You are a mighty saint of valor and virtue.

The Affirmation For The Kids:

Today, I’m growing in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man. Great is my peace. I am taught of the Lord. I am an arrow of light that destroys darkness. I am a mighty saint of valor and virtue.

Have an amazing week everyone!
